(2) Base Token: $BONE

Disclaimer: here

The first token (Token #0), $BONE, is hardcoded into the protocol indexer and acts as the base token for all liquidity pools. The liquidity pools of the Bones Protocol contain $BONE on one side and the respective token on the other.

When users want to buy a token ("Token A"), they need to spend $BONE in a swap transaction. The swap transaction results in the user receiving an amount of "Token A" according to its current price. If the user wants to sell "Token A", the process works in reverse.

The amounts of "Token A" and $BONE in the liquidity pool adjust according to the trade, similar to how it works on Ethereum and Solana DEXs (with $WETH and $SOL as base tokens).
